25% off Store-Wide at Games World

160
BIG25

25% off storewide at Games World, not limited to the Doncaster Store in the link as my local store in WA has the same deal. I am assuming this is nationwide.

Prices are pretty good, particularly for board games that are coming in at similar prices to shipped prices from Amazon.

eg. Robinson Crusoe Adventures on the Cursed Island ~$97 at Games World, is about $105 shipped from Amazon.

eg. Glass Road is ~$75 at Games World, is about the same price shipped from Amazon.

Most stuff is still cheaper shipped direct from Amazon, but if you want to support your local business or find some items that are discounted this is a very good deal.

I never had the money to spend on it back in the day, but my friends used to spend hundreds on Games Workshop models for Warhammer etc and these are also very rarely reduced by this much (or so I am told by my friend)

  • Might be worth including the actual website instead of Westfield.. https://www.gamesworld.com.au/

  • +1

op, games world and games workshop are 2 very different stores.

games world sells all the novelty toys, while games workshop sells the minature warhammer and model building kits

    • I understand that, was pointing out that they sell games workshop stuff that is included in the sale too.

  • Even with the 25% off milsims has better prices…. haven't ordered for a while but postage was pretty reasonable at a flat 5$ or so. You can pick up if your close by. Gamesworld is a rip. Support milsims.

    Robinson Crusoe 84$+shipping

    glass road 70$ +shipping.

    • Except that Milsims has both of those items on backorder. Standard shipping is about $7.50 on items I have seen. Gamesparadise are $88 on robinson crusoe and you can get free shipping with orders over $125, but I have had the game on backorder with them for over 2 months now, so bit the bullet and got it from Games World. I'd rather pay more to actually have it in hand.

Milsims are also currently running an additional 5% off sale, otherwise Robinson Crusoe would be $90 (25% off $120). Regarding milsims it appears as though they are out of stock of just about every board game I'd actually want to buy, or have purchased in the past 12 months so can't really put much faith in getting what I want from them.

    • You guys do realise that Milsims has a side business with a different name that supplies all of these stores with games or many of them anyway. Also Milsims (it's parent company anyway) franchises off these games worlds, it is one big monopoly. Milsims is not the friend some of you make them out to be in reality and they take their time getting shipments which come by container from overseas for a reason, to help keep their retailers happy because Milsims outlet prices are cheaper to compete with web businesses. Other businesses like unhalfbricking and the now not trading Warchest, these companies forced Milsims to drop their prices from 2004-2010 and that is the only reason their web business has the prices it does.

  • Just bought Agricola - good price at $75. Milsims has it for $80!
