  • I went a few times last year. If you get there after 5.30 there's about an hour wait if last time is anything to go by, so best to get in early.

  • thanks! will definitely try it out!

  • how's this compare to Menya?

    • I personally prefer Menya

I like both :) Zundo's broth is a little more "gritty" but the tonkotsu is still thick and rich, and both are less thick/rich in comparison with Gumshara. Depends on the type you prefer.

I did a review of all of them on my blog, sunshinebuns - the ramen diaries

      • I'm a regular at Gumshara. Once or twice a week. I should probably buy shares from the guy.

I always ask for the soft boiled egg and extra soup.

I read your review and can totally relate to you with "It’s authentic and rich and will see you waddling back to work afterwards."

I work at World Square and I write myself off when I go to Gumshara for lunch, that walk up to Goulburn Street back to work. That small incline is like tackling Mount Everest.

  • 5-9pm, no orders after 8:30pm??
    lol

  • You guys have to try the Tsukemen.

    I went there last week:

and probably will again with this deal. Cheers OP

Have you tried Gumshara down the road at Eating World? Best Ramen in town if you're into rich broths.

Yes I like Gumshara too, I rate them about the same. Zundo has a better ambiance but Gumshara makes that up in strong flavours that might not please everyone though both better than Menya imo
