  My guess is only a small fraction do… Not worth the hassle to manage 2 accounts…

    I beg to differ – I have over $80 worth of apps that I've scored, not to mention the $45 in iTunes credit I've accumulated from US-only offers. Also, it means I can get Hulu and Netflix. ;)

  How do I then add this to my Apple device? I am already signed up with my ID on the apple device which is linked with an Australian store so how do I download the game onto my device?

    After creating a US account, you must sign into it. You then visit the link, which redirects you to iTunes so you can redeem the promo code.

    In your iDevice AppStore, goto the Featured 'Tab' and scroll to the very bottom of the page.

    You would most likely be logged in as your AU account so just click on that Apple ID rounded box and you have the option to Sign out. Do that and then just Sign in with your US account.

    Also, after you have done this, go back to this OzB post and click on the link the OP put up and it should automatically log into your AppStore (which should be US account defaulted) and then redeem the code. You may need to enter in your US account password again but thats it.

        Apparently, you can use your AMEX card with the US iTunes Store. Another option is purchasing iTunes gift cards.

        I accumulated my $45 in credit by using FreeMyApps…
