    wow, $6.05 cheaper than MSY!

Big receiver though, not a nano.

  • Got one
    Thanks

  • Any idea how good it is?

I got one for my Dad 6 months ago. He uses it everyday, no complaints.
I have used it also, I would buy another if I needed one.

      • Thx!

I paid about $22.00 & I thought that was cheap!
As Giggles stated, it's not a Nano Receiver.

        • @luke73: Noooo. I just bought it for $19 recently :)

        • @luke73: I actually put my computer in a bad way that bent the receiver about 90 degrees not too long after getting it. The plastic shell came off too. Still works fine. Logitech quality.

      • lol, that's how my tablet typing looks! Always miss the space key.

    • Any idea how good it is?

See shmahoo above for the TL;DR.

You're better off going with the Microsoft 800 Wireless Desktop imo.

Compared to the Logitech MK220 or the MK400, the MS 800 has got noticeably more of a bezel/fascia (it's about 15cm longer and 9cm wider than either of them), which give your palms/wrists a better gradient to lean on with the legs down but you can still easily use it as a Home Theatre/Portable keyboard as it's incredibly light and the mouse is very compact.

The Logitechs also have very tightly spaced and recessed keys whereas the MS 800's have more travel and feel more like a normal OEM rubber dome keyboard.

Thanks OP. Out of stock at Elizabeth street VIC. Pick up from Collins Street and a few of them on the shelves. Plenty of stocks at Russell Street.

  • Got this from Woolies for $20 quite a long while ago.

As with any other Logitech product, I can only highly recommend it. It's not the best wireless keyboard and mouse combo you can get, but at that price point it is without any doubt at all.

  • Around 10 in stock at Clarence street Sydney.

I prefer the model which has the arrow keys in the usual position which is obviously less compact. Old man uses it and has been good.

I have sold alot of MK270 which I love. Got a MK220 for $20 recently and very disappointed in quality of keyboard. Mouse is okay but still alot cheaper then MK270's and other Logitech models.

Word. Went in store and the MK270 just felt way better than the MK220. Doesn't include the mouse but is leagues better than the MK220.
Went in for a MK220, walked out the the (M)K270

      • I grabbed the MK270 pack from target for $30 - the only drawback is only one indicator led [capslock], but twice as usefull… That said, I may still look at this if it will fit in my 15" laptop bag.

        • Is this advertised somewhere? Is the pack with a mouse or without?

          @djkelly69:
It's the normal target price I think [MK270], tho sold out on-line

          http://www.target.com.au/p/logitech-wireless-keyboard-mouse-…

That said, there were ~ 5 MK220's on the shelf at OW Marion [SA] around 11:am, down the other end from the higher priced K220 solo lol.I got it home, popped the mini receiver on my nexus 7 [2012] OTG string, and was up and running nicely. It just fits sweetly in a 15" laptop bag as well.

That reminds me that I have to send in my microsoft cash back for the wireless keyboard + mouse I bought.

I'm so glad you didn't type 'brought'. +1 for knowing your grammar.

      • You mean spelling?

        • +3

no I meant grammar. The incorrect choice of word is considered a grammar mistake. Most Americans have so many you could write a book on it, just watch Judge Judy. 'Aksed' however (the way a lot of hick yanks say 'asked') would be a spelling mistake in speech, or more accurately a mispronunciation.

Except language changes as people change it. A sentence can be formally incorrect, but if the recipient understands the message then the sentence has served its purpose.

      • I was an English teacher for 4 years so I should no my stuff.

    • I didn't even know there was such a thing. Boy am I glad I ended up buying one from Dick Smith and not another eBay seller. Thanks for helping me save $10!

  • Some Ozbargainer or Broden bought 15 in one go at Auburn NSW store.
Luckily the sales assistant pointed me towards either Old Guilford, Northmead and Greenacre stores which had stock.

    Pretty good keyboard.

    Happy.

    • Go the Borden. No limit, no sin.

Use this keyboard for my Xbox 360 and Media PC, mouse works on any surface, keyboard super light, batteries last forever. Brilliant!

  • Plenty left at Woolloongabba store as of 4pm today.

Wasn't looking for a new kb and mouse combo but at this price I nabbed two to use as back ups (though, I'll likely still get a new KB or mouse if mine die as I use a gaming mouse and a full size KB for on my desktop).

I wonder if this works on the PS3?

  • There's like a billion left in the Doncaster store (Victoria).

  • Plenty left at ascot vale store as of 3pm today.
    Melbourne

  • I bought one today. It was cheaper than buying the keyboard by itself.

  • Got one today, happy with it.

  • Got one from East Kew, VIC this afternoon - had to ask for it tho as there were none left on display. Perfect for my HTPC setup!

  • Picked up the last one from Glebe store.

  • just picked one up from officeworks Werribee.
