My neighbours have this tablet and i've found it very frustrating to use. It has significant problems installing apps and has no third party ROM support to speak of so you are stuck with Samsung ROMS. It seems to have been abandoned by Samsung in favor of the Galaxy Note tablets. I would get something else if you want to dabble in custom roms (Cyanogenmod etc).
I've had no problem installing apps on mine. Works like a charm.
There is 3rd party rom support. cyanogenmod is available but unofficial.

I went to officeworks, dse, big w and jb hifi. Several stores didnt have stock but eventually got david jones parra (dse) to price match officeworksReason this is cheap is because the new model is being released in a few months (is what I was told at OW)
Usual price is way inflated.
I got mine December last year from OW at the same price on a price match from Bing Lee. Doubt they were losing money then, so a lot of gouging going on.
i bought the 4G version for $245.65 after 15% ebay discount 3 weeks ago. Nice tablet!
