KIA Sportage Platinum 2014

Hi guys, my missus is planning to buy KIA sportage platinum (top of the range). They go for around 45k. I am a little bit worried because I dont know much about KIAs and they are not cheap. They give 5 years warranty and unlimited Ks…etc
Does anyone own one?Is it a good SUV? Any advice what to do, stay away from it etc…? She doesn't like Hyundai or Nissan….

    I own the 2011 Kia Cerato Koup and have had no problems at all.

    I'd say go for it! I love the look of the Sportage.

    I have a 2011 diesel version and have had no major problems. Rattle in sunroof starting to get a little annoying. Great drive and diesel is pretty good on fuel. Note there may be some 2014 built MY13 cars available and they might save you a few $$$. Ask the dealer to check stock.

    Did a test drive and it drives very nice.

    We're looking at Kia as well. Asked a few mechanic friends. Said they were pretty impressed with them. Parts are cheap and abundant for repairs and with a 5 year warranty you should be pretty good on that front anyway.
