Should I buy Honda CR-V?

Hi All,

I was looking for second hand low kms SUV to buy and came across this Honda CR-V 2010. It is automatic 4X4 nice clean car with full service history from honda dealer costing $17k. I've read online comments which are not encouraging and want to hear from other community members as to should I buy or not to buy.

I'v also heard that it is costly to maintain and run. Is that true?

Could you please share your experience?
Thanks

  • Love my 2003 - bought as a demo.

Nice to know someone has been paying handsomely keeping your 2010 in perfect maintained condition just for you, and to pick it up for only $17k.

I've never bothered with the schedule/logbook for the sake of the next owner. I suspect it will be worthless just the same. Of course I still change the oils regularly etc. and has been a reliable family car having done approx 250,000k

If your hearts set, get it checked out by your auto club for advanced warning of looming repairs - like you would a house.

If a private sale you could reduce the price to cover the expected repairs.

I'd prefer your auto to my manual.

  • Hi Nice guy,

So did you buy it? Thinking of buying a similar spec car, would love your thoughts about your ownership experience.

    Cheers,
    Vavs
