SanDisk Dual USB 2 (OTG USB Drive) 16GB, 32GB and 64GB - 64GB is $38 + freight @ Shopping Square

Seemed pretty cheap for USB with normal end and micro end so no otg cables - perfect for my tablet and a lot cheaper than the $79 at OW

Thanks for that, can always rely on OB to save a buck or 3

    • You bit me to it by 27 seconds. I will personally recommend MSY deal, you can pick it up which saves time and postage. You can return it if it doesn't work. Price also better

Not sure about the Patriot brand, but I would give it a go myself.

    • At quick glance it looks better again, thanks.
Dual USB was only something I heard of 10 minutes ago so I impressed for a few minutes, not so much now,

    • The Patriot is USB 3.0 on the PC end, obviously resulting in faster transfer speeds to your PC. If time is money for 64gb, go the Patriot.

Yep +1 to the Patriot. I bought a 32GB and a 64GB from MSY. The outer casing including the cap is rubberised. The cap remains attached to the case when you open it so you don't lose it.

Install Total Commander and USB Plugin for Total Commander on your Android devices and you're set :)

Oh and don't forget to re-format it to NTFS first if you're going to put large files on it. I had a few files copied into the drive that were just under the size limit and then one file was over, so had to reformat and re-copy.

      • File limit? As in it limits the number of files you have? And if you exceed the limit you have to reformat?

        • No file size limit as explained by alvian below.

@amts - exFAT is the recommended alternative to FAT32. NTFS is inefficient for flash drives.

@WaywardOne - FAT32 maximum file size is limited to 4,294,967,295 bytes per file.

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_Allocation_Table

Convert FAT32 to NTFS without re-formatting and re-copying:

Start —> Run —> Cmd (Command Prompt) and execute the command
        CONVERT d: /FS:NTFS
where d is the disk letter.

        • Thanks. Will try that next time. Learnt something new today. Time to go home.

      • Does it have to be that or does something like Astro File manager work equally as well?

        • Total Commander is needed if your Android device does not support OTG.

    • bought the 32gb Patriot for $18 this morning, so far so good

  • I was going to post this as well, seems a great deal, apart from MSY Patriot stuff. Does anyone know if OW price beat Shopping Square?

  • does shopping square send stuff by express post or normal, there is no option in shipping?

    • Says 3-5 days delivery.

    • The stuff ive bought from them (if sent local) seems to come via normal mail.
