Have anyone tried to return / exchange their jewellery from blue nile? What courier do you use?
I've just received my ring from them but it's half a size too small. I checked Fedex and it quoted me $85, which is pretty expensive for such a small item.
Also, can any of you comment on their experience of international return from Australia?
Use auspost pack and track or express mail. I used express mail to send stuff back with blue Nile. No probs at all with return but as cloudy said, couldn't you go and get it resized locally?
I considered resizing locally, but the ring is platinum and has got engraving inside. From what I heard, platinum resizing is not as simple as gold resizing, and less jewellers are able to do that locally.
Kasumi, did you use G4SI insurance (http://www.g4si.com/bluenile) when sending the goods to BlueNile via auspost? The website does not specifically mention which parcel service we can use from AusPost. It only says "Post Shipping Cover".
Nope. Just normal auspost express mail,no extra insurance. It's fully trackable which was a must for me. I sent back 2 diamond bracelets worth us$700
Would going to a local jeweller be an option to resize the ring?
