Work is having a kind of Kringle type gift swap and I got a female co-worker. The Limit is $50 and I have no idea what to buy so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have spoken with your co-worker and she would like some candles.

Also, your boss wants you to return the stationary that you took home the other week.

    Cheers!

    • I hear that what she really wants is a ring and some bling blings to go with it.

    • LOL

  • Female in what age range?

    • Late 20's early 30's I think.

  • What about getting her $50 lotto tickets?

  • Pick a gift pack from The Body Shop, LUSH or some nice skin care stuff from Myers - like Crabtree & Evelyn.

  • Not every woman wants smelly stuff, thats a cop out - I have drawers of the damn stuff that will last me until the year 2099.

How about a voucher for a meal somewhere - Groupon, Scoopon, Deal of the Day have them all the time. Or a voucher for a massage or facial, manicure, pedicure. etc

A bottle of happiness - American Honey, Midori etc

Don't know where you are located but a wine cruise voucher? or movie tickets.

Something that showed you put a bit of thought into it. Good luck

    • Yeah I hear you, and after speaking to a someone who is friends with her I have ruled out perfume or scented candles. I have been thinking about it, but it's difficult knowing what to buy for someone you don't know.

      • I hate scented candles… can never find the right time to use them, so they just sit in my box of stuff! :D

    • She doesn't drink.

  • Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

  • There is a good "craft" arty market on this weekend at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton. It's called Finders Keepers… most ladies like the stuff that is sold at these markets. You should go check it out. I think you can get some pretty good things with $50. $2 entry fee.

    • Even if I went there I wouldn't really know what a woman might like, any suggestions?

      • I'd say most women like most things offered at the market.

        Framed arty things
        Homewares
        Accessories
        Crafty things
        Bags, wallets etc
        Printed tea towels etc

  • Ughh, I really hate this thing, I've asked so many people and keep trying to come up with gift ideas and I still have no clue what to buy.

  • What about some nice chocolates from special chocolate stores ( not cadbury supermarket stuff)

    • That's not a bad idea actually. Could get that and a gift card or something. Do you know of any good chocolate places in Melbourne?
