Those that recently signed up to ANZ Black FF Card (for the free 50k points offer)

I have just been notified via phone that the black card does not receive online or any digital form of monthly statements. These are instead posted to you.

Is anyone with a black card able to access their online statement?

I see this as a tactic where they might delay posting you your monthly statements as a means to charge interest on late payments.

  • I noticed that too, and my first "month" ended after about 10 days, so i'm expecting a statement in the mail any day now. Just be careful - you can tell when your month has ended on internet banking and also on qantas as the points will be credited when the statement is generated.

  • Really? That's ridiculous. I am glad I didn't go for the black then.
    Do ANZ do this so your personal assistant can file your statement for you?

  • Could also be a way to avoid you claiming extended warranty insurance which requires old statements from when you purchased the item.

  • Any official word on why this is? Seems counter-intutive. Make life hardest for your highest paying customers.

      Apparently its a new product and IT is yet to receive instructions to integrate online statements for the black card.

  • I was planning to keep this card for the full year. But because of this I'm planning to cancel after $1.5k spend and 50k points. Just too risky that a statement might get "lost in the mail".

    Got confirmed today that the Online Statements for Black should be available by the end of this quarter. The Black card is a new product and the online system isn't fully integrated with it yet. Once the change is tested and deployed, all past statements will also be available.

    Online statements are now available for download, from the start of your membership.
