Vaya referral code wanted

I have been with TPG for more than 2 years, $15 (discounted with ADSL bundle) for $550 calls and 1.5GB data. I am happy with the deal until they "improved" the plan, which change from 1.5GB data to 1GB. For the first time in 2+ years, I exceeded my data limit (by just $3). Not to mention that 2 days without service during the transition period from the old plan to the new downgraded plan. I am leaving TPG.

The choice I have is Telechoice and Vaya.

From the review I have, Telechoice is on Telstra 3G network, when it work, it is perfect. But the billing system is a pain. Always get over charged. (http://www.productreview.com.au/p/telechoice.html)

Vaya is good in general. Therefore, I am going for Vaya Power Plan 29 (V2) no contract. I will be signing up next week.

I wondering if anyone want me to use his/her referral code. If you're feeling generous, we could split the bonus or something.

Please PM me.

  • Be careful of Vaya, there are plenty of worrying reviews on Whirlpool - amongst them the tendency for the payment system to magically crash on the last day of the payment, causing you to pay a dishonour fee.

  • I have been with vaya for over a year and not had a single issue/problem with them. If u want the referal code lemme know

    • +1

Wait, Vaya has Referal system? I cant find it in my account, Where is it?

    • Not a single issue for over a year? You are a rare specimen.

I've been with them for about a year, and have had around 3 issues.

WHen you have an issue, you call them up… and they take 'bad service' to a whole new level.

      Issues I've had with them:
      1. Unexpected data usage. 700mb used, in one hour, on a new billing period. They've acknowledged that this was a mistake on their behalf, but they cannot rectify it until the new billion period, i.e. after a month.

      1. Other stuff which I cannot remember, and just want to forget.

They are cheap, yes. But their service is redefined 'bad service'.

  • From the review http://www.productreview.com.au/p/vaya.html

Their billing service is bad, the data is counted in MB instead of KB, which renders 1.5Gb of data like 500MB. Is it worth going to vaya ?

  • I must be one of the lucky ones then…Never in about 15 months have I had a billing error. Nor gone over my data allowance

  • is there any way you can avoid paying $20 for their SIM? I know they run promo every now and then for free sim but not sure when will they run this promo again.

  • from my knowledge its either you have to wait for the free promo, or else go on a 2 year contract with them. but honestly saving the 20$ by being bound to them legally for 2 years isnt usually worth it
