I came across www.sunglassesshoppingmall.com, they appear to have fantastic deals on rayban sunglasses.
The deals seem too good to be true. Also, they don't offer PayPal only credit card, which makes me more suspicious.
However, like a good OzBargainer, I don't want to miss out on a good deal. So, thought I would ask if anyone has bought from this place and if the deals are legit?
Allow me to answer. Cannot be legit. These are so far below the cost price for RayBan it would simply be impossible for them to build a business.
Reason I can say this with certainty- I used to be the buying director for Sunglass Hut.
Now people might think who cares if they're legit, they look like RayBan. But never buy fake sunnies. The reason is they won't adhere to Australian standards, they often fail in UV protection which means your eyes are absorbing damaging UV rays that'll have serious long term impact on your vision. Its much much worse than wearing nothing at all, as the tint will disable your squint reflex in sun, leaving you wide eyed to the rays. Any sunglasses you buy in Australia (outside of markets) will be fine, even a $5 pair from a servo. But never never foreign fakes.

the domain was registered just 3 days ago, probably using false details. chinese dns servers. avoid it.

Everything about this site scream fake/scam at first glance. Unfortunately people still fall for it, thinking with their wallet rather than their head.
What I do when I want cheap sunnies is find a really cheap pair of sunglasses that I like, so long as the frames are OK I don't care how cheap the lense is. Then I purchase lenses from http://www.thesunglassfix.com.au/ The lenses are $50 and they can custom cut them to any size. The lenses are AMAZING from them. So much better than my previous Oakley, Rayban days… You can choose the colour, polarized, etc etc… I bought a cheap pair of glasses that I loved in Mexico and got them to put lenses in, they are fantastic - total cost was $60 including the frames, lenses and shipping.

From their FAQ : " If the size is small for you , or when you received your jersey, you find you don't like it and so on, these problem we don't accept".

That is a dodgy looking website.
No address, no phone number, no email, no Paypal and bad broken english in the FAQ.
I would worry about it, and don't expect to receive anything at all let alone real Raybans.
