$350 For A HTC One M8

Good Afternoon All,

Just looking for a consensus from the group here… my new boss has offered to sell me his near new HTC1 M8 for $350… I'll be taking a look at it tomorrow and plan on offering him $300 for it… It was purchased new from a Telstra shop, but my boss finds it too large for him… Potentially good for me… I have been holding out for ages looking for a Galaxy S4 or S5 at a good price (or even a OnePlus One), but this looks like a good alternative— not thrilled about what I expect will be Telstra branding, but for the price, I'm considering this might be a good deal— can I ask the group's thoughts?

Thanks.

Of course it's a good deal, have you seen what they're going for at the shops?

I have, but buying a lemon for $300 less than what others are paying for it doesn't necessarily constitute a deal… If the phone is WORTH the extra price, then it would be a good deal, was the point I was getting at.

Is this a joke, since when is a HTC m8 a lemon, one of the best phone out there and $350 is a steal.

I didn't actually say the phone was a lemon, I gave it as an example… Implying simply, that a cheaper price does not necessarily mean a good deal… On the other hand, thanks for the feedback on the phone :)

Its a crazy deal. even if you didn't like the phone you could easily flog it off on gumtree for $500.

Don't be a stinge, give him $350, its already a bargain at that price and he is doing you a favour.

I'd take the HTC One Mate 8 days out of 7 over a OnePlus One…

  • Tell your boss I will buy it for $350 and I pass you $50 for finders fee.

    Its a bargain.

    • I will Pay $400, you keep the $100 and i will pay for the postage as well. It's Auction Now???
