Would somebody please give me a job?

I will travel most places in Melbourne. If I wasn't locked into a rental agreement I’d even travel anywhere in Australia.

I'm 20, studying marketing with only 6 units left. I've had one job at Woolworths in the past for over a year. After I moved from regional Vic to Melbourne I had trouble finding a job which I thought was just bad timing (late November).

I've had my fair share of setbacks along the way, and god knows being told again and again that they’re not offering me the job hasn't helped my courage, but I am a hard worker when given the opportunity. I've been casually completing web work for clients on and off for a while but I just want a job. I've applied and been interviewed at two different McDonald’s and I can’t even squeeze a job out of them. I will even defer university if someone has something full time.

Please, give me the opportunity to prove myself.

    you should ask woolworths to re-hire you since they should have something in their work guidelines about relocating to a different woolworths store

    You are only 6 units away from completing your degree so hold on for that little longer and have it under your belt. Times are hard mate, being a uni student myself I get where you are coming from. Luck comes in at the most unexpected moments, so keep up the good effort and I'm sure you will be rewarded :)

    Have you considered doing volunteering work to get some experience?

      Volunteer to get your foot in the door. Once you've made yourself invaluable say you're moving on and they'll make you a position. If they don't then good riddance and move on anyway. It'll also help on your resume when applying for other jobs.
