Race seat style office chairs. Yay or nay ?

Have been chasing a new computer chair for a while.

Anyone had any experience with these racecar style ones ?

To be avoided or ok for the price ?

Assuming it's similar to the Officeworks ones which I found comfy enough. I'm not expecting too much for $100 but it's gotta beat the timber dining chair I'm currently using.

    we use the officework ones in our call centre.

    quality seems v. good with constant usage they are outliving all the other officeworks ones easily.

    I have the Aero office chairs at my work (~$1000 each) and yes they are pretty amazing. I have the Race seat ($149) at home and yes its not as comfortable over long periods however for the price its far superior to anything else in the price bracket. Provided you can get over looking a bit like a tool.

    Chair turned out to be quite ok for the price. I did get $27 off the price and free delivery which I took that into account.
