      The last showdown killed their confidence. The players are feeling the pressure, making stupid mistakes, and when they do kick long, it's to no one. I went to the Melbourne game… that was horrible to watch (with more than a few dubious umpiring decisions, not to mention Kane Cornes getting repeatedly elbowed in the throat and absolutely nothing done about it). They should've won easily. They're almost as bad as they were when Primus was coach.

      To be fair though, most of their losses have been a goal or less. The old Port Adelaide would've just given up, but these guys fight it out til the end. Collingwood just wanted it more. And, there was a shot for goal by Monfries, that he messed up big time, which could have made all the difference. The pressure well and truly got to him.

      The Port vs Melb game was my first time at Adelaide Oval. Is the crowd always that silent? Of all the games I went to at AAMI, the crowd was loud and active regardless of whether they were winning or losing.

      Since I missed out on tix to the game this week, I guess i'll take up the offer here and hopefully watch the game there!

        Correct, ever since the showdown we have been shot.
        On the crowd noise, that's probably been the lowest of all time (from someone who goes to all games). After all of the other games my ears were ringing.

      With a set of teeth between all the Port fans put together, I would guess the $15 would go to beverages only.
