    No. As a Hong Kong company DWI do not charge GST, so there is no GST to claim.

    As they explain on their payment options page:

    Do your prices include GST?
    No.
    As we are an overseas business, we do not charge any GST on our purchase.

    And even if you could find a reseller that did pay GST that you could claim back you'd pay more overall anyway.

  • Fyi it is 60 days now.

    • Thanks for the info mate.. That's news to me

  • In order to claim TRS, you need to supply tax invoices totally $300 or more.

    From TRS website, the tax invoice must show the following;

    • The ABN of the supplier
    • The GST-inclusive price of the goods
    • The date of issue of the tax invoice (within 60 days of your flight)
    • The name of the retailer
    • A description of each good
    • A statement similar to "the total price includes GST

    Now since DWI is Hong Kong based, they're not going to have an ABN, nor are they going to provide you with an invoice including GST.

    tl;dr You won't be able to claim back the GST since it will not be charged for your purchase.
