So Amaysim have just given up a free feature that I got a lot of benefit from -free access to Facebook, LinkedIn, twitter etc as part of my PAY-AS-YOU-GO plan.
What is the next best mobile plan with low minimum monthly charges and free social media? Are there any left?

It was a feature with Optus and its MVNOs as I remember many had free social media access for quite a few years. Optus dropped it back in late 2012 and I would imagine its MVNOs are also gradually removing that feature. I still have one SIM with an old Exetel mobile plan that has free Facebook/Twitter, but not sure how long they are going to keep those grandfathered plans going either.
Yeah, I can imagine that the contract arrangements with Optus are coming up for renewal and Free Social Networking is no longer on the table (or at least not at a fair price)
Any better bargain than Amaysim?
Never had any use myself for free social media. Note that even if say the FB site is free, many of the images, videos, ads or other pages it pulls in are not free so it may not be as free as you think.
Don't think there are any plans left with free social media. Would love to be proven wrong.
With regards to low minimum monthly charges, there are quite a few options but that depends whether or not having access to 4G speeds is a 'deal breaker' for you or not.
Also, would you consider an MVNO on the Vodafone network?
Current user of amaysim but I didn't know they were free to access, I always thought they were actually using data. Another option could be to swap flexi plan 19.90$ per month ?
