Does anyone have any tips for when to book a flight for around 31st of August. Looking to go for around 3 weeks.
Any tips on getting the best rate?
I'm currently looking on Kayak and Adioso.
If I use Malaysian Airlines, do you feel there is any risk that they could go bust in that time?
Also have an AMEX card, which we can use.
Any pro-OB tips would help.

Malaysian airlines have special $$550 return fare Mel or Sydney to KL. Use itamatrix to get onward return fight from there. Could also compare flights from BKK especially Fin air. Look at airline website and compare prices with using travel agent or on line agency,
