Not seen this deal posted but in latest JB catalogue I saw this TV.
I have been tracking this TV for a while now and finally down to a decent price (started at $1250 on launch), haven't seen it anywhere cheaper and if you buy in Sydney city store get free delivery.
Cheapest I have seen it was around $933, so $848 is a good deal, plus get 2 years JB Hifi warranty versus standard 1 year.
Yeah that was the old model (UA40F6400 not UA40H6400), new model released march/april time so if you can wait this price will definitely go down again closer to release of 2015 model. I tried to get one at $600 price but all sold out and it was only dual core not quad core of the new model.
There is a sell through from Samsung to all retailers, so hopefully the other retailers will respond to this aggressive move by JB. A little price war on this model would be great to watch.
The second year warranty is just ur statutory rights, which everyone is entitled too
Yeah I know, but better to have it no quibble than have to go down the whole statutory rights path. Realistically it should be at least 3 to 4 years, 1 year is a joke by Samsung.
Got one for $788 shipped from Appliances Online during the EBay sale. Pretty happy with it.
Go to Binglee.. can definitely get for much less..
I got the same model in Jan, for $600. Had to hassle the salesperson though.
