AUD for RTG & Hotels.com - CC transaction fee?

Hi Guys,

i was trying to find this info on the deals posted but couldn't so thought just create the topic.

If any of you have used, Rates to Go Or Hotels.com….do you know if they process charges in AUD? I mean CC international transaction fees apply or not? I learned the hard way but Cheaptickets will cause CC international transaction fees as per my experience…

Also, any other decent accommodation sites and what currency they charge in will be handy…if u know

    Use Paypal and pay in AUD$. All paypal transactions are processed in Australia.

      thanks. so using paypal no CC transaction fees but whtever the exchange rate is will b applied.

        The currency exchange rate is whatever the site converts, not paypal.(or choose whichever is better)

        Yup It may be more expensive when using AUD$, but you might benefit from the "Insurance" feature of your CC.

    They will refund any foreign exchanges fees if you phone them up.
