I have my address in my account page & devices set to my friend's US address. But when I try to get any of the music here:

Wtf?? I've changed it around when getting the various free books- but somehow this won't let me in. Does it take hours for it to "kick in" once I change the details over?

They record your IP, pretty common thing to do across online retailers.
Use proxy set to US and you'll be fine
