We need to purchase a new vacuum and have been looking at the 2 models mentioned above. Doesn anyone know where each one rated in the choice report that was conducted in July 2014? Or has anyone compared these 2 vacuums and if so which one did you decide on and why?

Dyson. I tested both at the shops. I ended up getting the dyson. It has more suction plus I had a DC08 for 12 years without any issues. Both Batteries last around the 30 min mark. The hepa filter is also really good.
