  • Firstly, good choice! Australia is an amazing place to visit.
Now, Australia believe it or not is rather large. Depending where exactly you want to go and what your priorities are will dictate what advice we can give you.
Obviously back packers are much cheaper then a hotel, trip advisor will be a good source for finding a value one.
Scenic sports? Will I highly recommend the Great Barrier Reef in north QLD if your after some scenic sports.
Local food - Depends what you like, Australia doesnt really have a local food unless you could pub food.
Ultimately if you want a relaxing trip id avoid the major tourist spots, if you to see the main stuff like Sydney Harbour Bridge etc, its going to cost you more and limits your options.

  • No much information about your interests or possible budget. Post some more information and I will try to make some suggestions.

  • Thank you for your recommendation,I really like cycling and photographing .I have thought of back packer but I takes me too long time to finish to trip and MY time is limited. And I am planning to be the beach ,moutainous resort or places symbol Australia .MY budget is about 20000 dollars.Quite look forward to it.

  • Try Airbnb , some offer really good prices where you can stay relatively close to the place of interests. Plus people are more than happy to give you pointers, local knowledge is always advantageous.

  • $20000 dollar budget for one week? Luxury plus for this money. To chill out in luxury you could go to the Whitsundays and stay in a 5 star luxury resort, have a daily pamper package, go scuba diving and eat gourmet seafood dishes all day - and go home with $100000 left over for your next holiday……
Or take a posh guided tour of the Northern Teritory/Kimberley with all the extras - and go home with $10000 left over for your next holiday…….
Your issue isn't money; with your budget you can have anything you want.
    Enjoy!

    • haha, thank you for your recommendation!
