Travel Insurance for 10 months (one country)

Hi everyone

I'm going to be living in the UK and would like to have some form of travel insurance. I'll hope to be doing a bit of travelling around Europe but not at a very frequent basis.

I would like to have some form of travel insurance.

I thought the multi-trip annual types offered may be useful but all I've looked at have a disclaimer that you can only spend a maximum of say 60 or 90 days in one country at a time which I will probably be doing.

Getting regular travel insurance for such a long period (9-10 months)is very $$ (look at about $800 no excess on TID) but is there any other option?

    Can you possible repurchase online every 60 or 90 days? Possibly cheaper than buying one big insurance for 9 to 10 months?

    What about contacting one of the UK companies that organise work visas as this must come up a lot?

    Son used this lot for his trip to the USA. Used it for at least a couple of years and claimed for some doctor visits he made.

    Just kept making payments at the end of each year.
