Catch the 686 bus to echo point, do a walk around there to see 3 sisters, walk to scenic world, then catch the 686 bus back to Katoomba. The bus is opal now - so it doesn't cost anymore on Sunday :) and is timed to leave after the trains arrives (ie the 8.18am from central arrives at 10.20am at Katoomba, bus leaves at 10.30am.

Check the trackwork on the train line though as this could mess up your plans.

    • beside the 3 sisters, anywhere else i should take the bus and visit too?

i am thinking to skip the scenice world.

  • There is a great cafe at the bottom of the hill in Katoomba st (main street) called Yellow Deli you might have to wait for a table if it is lunch time or a cold day, get an inside table, it is fantastic inside and the prices are not over the top.
