[StartHere] Is 3.5+ months tracking normal?

Hi Steve

Just wondering whether 3.5 months tracking on Dell is normal? I've made a subsequent dell purchase (2 months) and it's also in the tracking state.

Wondering whether to bother in future or whether it's normal for it take more than 3.5 months to go from Tracking -> Approved/Paid.

Thanks

  • I cannot answer your question, but am curious to know the answer. Although I haven't had tracking for that long, I have two transactions with different sites that have been tracking since mid-September (neither dell). MBC seems to have a good reputation, but I am holding off recommending it to anyone until I see some sort of progress :)

  • I'm still waiting for an update on a purchase made in early July so I would say it takes a long time. The affiliate networks seem to be slow in reporting back.

  • Yep, my $25 from quickflix is still bloody tracking >:/

  • I think MoneyBackCo should list out which network it is using for which deals. Many percentage-off moneyback from clixGalore/CommissionMonster seems to change from tracking to paid within a month, but some are just taking forever…

  • andrewkao - Yes 3.5 months tracking is excessive, submit an enquiry form and I'll make sure its sent off ASAP.

neil - Indeed the affiliate networks are not very responsive to enquiries, this does seem to be getting slowly better as we get an increased amount of transactions and therefore becoming a greater value affiliate, email [email protected] with the transaction and enquiry details and I'll prod the network again for you. [Edit] - I see you've already done that, so will resend.

scotty - Actually CommissionMonster is the slowest network to pay out, although they are the most responsive in terms of enquiry resolutions. E.g, if you made a purchase with them on 1st August then they won't payout until 1st November and due to bank transfer times it won't hit our account until about 9th November, so over 3 months. Some merchants on dgmPro are faster to approve and therefore pay but as a rule of thumb the network is the least responsive in terms of enquiries. We've been collecting some metrics and are looking at the best way to convey this information.

  • Thanks Steve!

  • While your at it Steve, could you check out why QuickFlix hasn't paid my $25 from back in July (It says August on the MBC site for unknown reasons). Cheers :)

  • hey steve, can you also check on the status of the $140 centrebet moneyback deal?

its been 2 months and its still tracking.

  • one of mine is the centrebet one too… I think there are a lot of us waiting on that one :)

  • All,

I'm not going to give individual transaction updates, please contact us directly for specific queries, I will say that we expect to see Centrebet's payments around the 9th November.

    Cheers.
