Mario Kart 8 DLC preorders! $16 for 6 characters, 8 vehicles and 16 tracks.

i'm kinda excited :)

split into 2 packs, $10 each or $16 for both. preorder nets you 8 different colours for yoshi and shyguy immediately.

first pack is zelda themed and lands in nov, has link, tanooki mario and cat peach, 4 vehicles including blue falcon and 8 tracks.

second pack is animal crossing themed and lands in may 2015, has villager, isabelle and dry bowser, 4 vehicles and 8 tracks.

tracks appear to be 4 each for cups, so a zelda and animal crossing cup, possible the last 2 will be retro cups.

oooh boy, Nintendo has joined the ranks. Not a fan of DLC's personally, but i'm sure they appeal to some people.

Mariokart.

It is not Nintendokart. Or Super Smash Kart. Mariokart is the Mario franchise. This bothers me deeply. I mean. It's cool, but it still bothers me lol.

Forget all of this… I think they should just release a fix to have two player in horizontal split as opposed to vertical split. So annoying being vertical.

    Sonic racing is pretty cool in that it lets you play 5 player with one person on the gamepad.

Shame you don't see others price their DLC's like this for example Call of Duty DLC's are an absolute joke.
