where to sell wine

hi all,
hoping for some advice on where to easily sell wine.
I have 3 dozen bottles of particular wine i want to sell and a quick google makes it look all too hard.
I have it on gumtree but that's a long shot.
Don't need to sell it all in one hit but want to sell it by half dozens at least.

in case anyone is wondering it's a case of buyers remorse, it's great wine but not quite what i wanted for the wedding i purchased it for :P
unfortunately not sure it can be returned to the store but guess i'll ask them just in case (website doesn't appear to indicate i can return it)

thanks,

  • Is it freely available recent wine, or wine that a broker would be interested in taking on to sell on your behalf?

    • hi pax, freely available (and not expensive) albeit very hard to find any as it's an older vintage
don't think a broker would be keen :(

  • Hi Drpox. what type of wine? where are you? And how much? i may be interested (stocks are getting low)

    • PM'd

  • +1

I've never heard of that label!

    [I'll get my coat]

    • Ahaha zing! Didn't want to put details in here as don't believe the forums for selling but its 2009 seppelt chalambar :)

  • I've used Langton's in the past to sell wine with a fair bit of success.
Quick look on their price guide has the '09 Chalambar selling for $15 per bottle (they also take an ~11-12% commission on top of that).
For that price, I think I'd just drink it - you won't find a better shiraz for $12-13 anywhere.
    Cheers

  • Hi drprox,

is the wine still for sale
