      "….the environment impact….."

I hate things like this. BBQ's should not be single use disposable things.

        Condoms too…

        • +2

You mean you don't wash and dry yours out?

  • +6

They really should have gone with 'recyclable' rather than 'disposable'.

  • Will most likely burn the grass/soil below it, avoid.

  • +2

Yep, because drilling huge holes in the Earth and pumping out gas is so much better!

  • +6

Nah avoid this. This is really popular in UK during summer as the english go crazy if they get a hint of sunshine and use these in the parks. The coals are doused in some chemical flamable stuff and seriously makes your sausages and burgers taste of lighter fluid or some chemical concoction of some kind. Most of our parks have good public BBQ anyways so better off using that or buying a cheap portable kettle which you can get at many places for 15-20 bucks.

    • +3

Public BBQ + bring your own cooking/teflon bbq liner = no clean up required.

      • -6

I never clean up after I use a public BBQ

That's the job of the people using it after me

or find a shopping trolley and BBQ bogan style!

Seriously you would be better off with one of those small butane powered burners. Cheap and handy as.

  • +1

This also be used as an outdoor heater. Great price!

We've used these before when they were $1 at Woolies. The briquettes are in a bag and all you do is light up the bag and the briquettes gets going once thebag is burnt.

Didn't burn any grass on the ground and the sausages tasted great. IIt's very handy when you've got no place to lug a bbq around on a trip and want a charcoal BBQ taste for your food.

We also carried a butane gas burner on the same trip. Both have their uses. At $1 the BBQ would equate to 20 uses compared to $20 butane gas burners not including the cartridges.
