tripped over one of these the other night in my front garden

better order another to stand on :\

  • Anyone know if the spot beam is the same as these?

    www.banggood.com/Ultrafire-CREE-XPE-Q5-300LM-MINI-LED-Flashl…

    • I don't think this banggood one has focus.

      • 3.Adjustable Focus ,you can Zoom in/out to adjust its beam .

      • The spot is a squarish shape, does the job but looks weird.

  • BS is strong with the 250Lumen figure

Still, they're $4 so why not hey.

  • Hmm gotta get me some of that 'Clicky/Clickee' action guys! Plus the 'average' 100,000 hours lifespan. Pft yeah right. More like 1,000hrs if that. Factory rejects from QC box.

  • These are good torches - amazing light from a single AA battery.

Even better is the Cree T6. There are different models with different battery configurations.

I just got a couple that run using 4 AAA 'S paid 8 bucks each delivered.

"T6" and "Q5" are quite meaningless by themselves. They refer to the bin numbers (how bright a certain light is within a category/design), and are put into different bins due to manufacturing variations. This means that it's necessary to know the design (XM-L, XP-E, etc.) before the bin numbers can be useful.

This particular torch is likely an XP-E Q5, judging by ones that look the same on Banggood, etc..

Your "T6" is likely an XM-L T6. It might be an XM-L2 T6, which is the newer variant.

      • Just had to check the confirmation email.

Ultrafire W-878 Cree XM-L T6 1200LM 5 Modes Adjustable Focus Stretchable LED Flashlight

  • Power 1000W

    That's gonna hurt battery life.

    • hurt battery life melt something

    • Lol. That doesn't look right for the lumen output. Probably closer to 3-5W

  • How is the delivery time from this website? hopefully not as bad as dx.com

    • It took about 10 days for my last order. It was actually $20:48 for 2X T6 Cree's
