Hey Ozbargain family

So we have a bit of USD we wanted to sell (largeish amount, but not a huge amount). What is the best place to exchange to AUD in Sydney?

Soneone travelling there may want it so could you use classifieds and advertise at xe rate no fees?

If you sell at the mid-rate (halfway between the bank,s buying and selling rates) you should get plenty buyers. Banks have a spread of about 7c between their buying and selling rates which is a HUGE rip-off. In other words, don't even think about selling to a bank……….
