Hi, I'm looking for a tv recorder PVR. One that I can set and walk away without having the tv on, like recording the footy while I'm there. Like a tivo, but under $100.

I don't know what to look for in a PVR. I guess if your gonna be like that we can get rid of this section
I just don't understand why people cant have a look for themselves, then come to the forum and say this is the best I can find, is this a good make/model/price. Rather then I want a PVR $100, sit back, do nothing and wait. And whilst I see people have neg my previous comment, I'm pretty sure the lack of anyone reply for over 4 and half hours would be a result of them not going to put in any effort when you haven't.
I have a Lenoxx twin tuner, set-top box, connected to an old analogue TV…..it is set up for just this purpose.
I just use an incorporated timer function to program the appropriate recording times. It wakes wakes up….records (to an onboard USB drive) …then returns to stand by mode when finished.
I can then play the resultant recording, made to the usb stick, on my main TV (which of course has USB inputs).
In any case, you could attach the tuner directly to your TV through the co-ax connection…and Bob's your uncle!
