Have You Upgraded to iOS8?

Hi guys.

iOS8 is now available to download. I tried to update my 16GB iPad this morning, but said I needed to have a whopping 5.6GB free for the honour!! I believe this only applies to OTA, but still…

Anyway, would love to hear your experiences, issues, comments, good or bad.

    Heard about it on the radio this morning where a school kid in the US spent his class time deleting content on his iPhone so he can upgrade to iOS 8 via OTA.

    Just plug in your phone to a com to do the update, no space requirement.

    I upgraded on my iP5. It's draining battery much faster than ios7. Just a heads up
    Just a couple of point, all debatable

    Likes:
    Double click now shows favourites and most recent people on the top
    Timelapse

    Dislikes:
    Change to browsing photos "by moments". Harder to see them now
    Swiping up from the bottom while the keyboard up doesnt always work now with the predictive text feature

      Is response any better than iOS7? Does it seems quicker overall?

    I'm holding out for a few days until I figure out if the current iOS is going to benefit my current setup (32Gb iPhone 5). Also need to get around to migrating my iTunes library so I can remove some music to fit it on…

    I would wait for all the main bugs to be discovered and then fixed - remember there were quite a few when they released iOS7.

    Battery life drain is to be expected, since apple want you to upgrade - they don't want you to keep using old hardware!
