    • thanks, changed the ending date.

  • :-( wish it was for all products. I really want to buy their fans. But at $600 can't justify it. 30% code… well…

    • It was 40% discount on everything some months ago :)

      • Damn, I missed that one. Next time.

        • +1

Dont be sad. Dyson stopped taking the orders as soon as they realized it was Ozbargained and advised that the code was to a particular Company Employees alone.

@daBargainHunter: Oh. There probably won't be a next time. Bugger.

          @daBargainHunter:

Lasted all afternoon. Everyone who got their orders in was fulfilled :)

    • AM05 was down to like $399 at TGG and HN a while back.

  • Thank you op, I just ordered a charger for my dc30

  • Has anyone experienced the Tangle-Free Turbine head? Thinking of getting one for the bathroom

    • I have that with my Animal Pro. Quite useful for cleaning cars and couches. Don't have animal fur to test the tangle part though.

    • Tell you honestly, I just use the normal brush and open it up and remove the hair. This is whay Dyson recommended to me when I called up. I have the Animal Pro and haven't used the Tangle-Free Turbine still.

      • Thanks guys, yeah might give it a miss then.

    • I got the tangle free turbine head with DC59 Animal and I've been using it in our bathroom. It's really good! No tangle at all as it claims. The only annoying thing I find about it is it's small width. But I guess you can't get everything :-)

You could always do what Entertainment has suggested too! That way you just need to open up the brush and remove the hair. So I guess it comes down to if you want to be doing that or would you rather spend money to buy the tangle free tool and don't worry about cleaning!

      • Just like to confirm before buying. Does the Tangle free Turbine head work with the DC59 Animal? The website states that it isn't compatible with the cordless models and I hesitate ordering one if it won't work. And do you attach it to the end of the stick part or to end of the extension hose from the Tool Kit accessories? Thanks in advance.

        • Oops, did a typo earlier. Mine's a DC54 Animal (Barrel). I'm not sure if it will work with DC59. If the website says it won't work with the cordless models, then probably best not to buy. Sorry about confusion.

It's a good tool though for compatible models.

        • It sort of works if you use the DC59 in boost mode, but definitely not the same if used with a barrel.

I have a DC54 Animal and DC59. Tested on both.

        • Thanks for the replies guys. So no good for me then.

  • Where is this information posted besides abc's comment?

Possible to price match at Masters?

    • possibly, just ask them to enter the code at checkout.

  • I just ordered the Cyclone assembly, charger, filter for my DC44 Animal.

Dyson says it shouldn't work on spare parts but it does.
Be quick before they disable the code for spare parts.

    No discount on vacuum :(

    • +6

      No, because it's off accessories.

  • Also , you need to phone them for some accessories, so you cannot get the online discount !! Any flyer with he promotion. It might me misleading advertising.

Also they ask you a lot of questions before processing the phone order… like why do you need the accessory or when did you buy the vacuum . It seemed they hired ex ASIO employees.

    • yeah i had to call to order the bin assembly but they told me 30% off cannot be done on that as it's only for online orders. BUT she gave me 1 free under warranty.

      currently back ordered.

Purchased with discount thanks OP, dog grooming tool. I have long luxuries man hair, I am FABIO;)

    • I just got this dog grooming tool. My dog does not like it at all. :(

      • I want this, but I only have a handheld one, have you ever tried using it on one of the dyson handheld?

        • The website says that it is not suitable for handheld ones

        • YouTube video showing someone using the handheld dyson with dog grooming tool, so it looks as though it may be possible.

          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yVyX-5QytA

  • How stupid, you can order all spare parts except for the one I need - the BATTERY!!! >:-(

    • What model?
I had no issue ordering a battery.

      • DC31 Motorhead.

Just checked the others, you can order the batteries for DC16, 30 and 58 :-(

I wonder if I can order it over the phone?

        • As SrMoure said above you can try phoning them to order but be prepared for questions…

        • @mangew: I started pissed off because as a starter if you need to phone them to order a part, it's poor customer service. Is started answering I don't know / My wife knows, No idea - followed by "why do you need this information? I just want to but a spare part and this is a waste of time" and then I started asking her if she was married or she had a dog. More than happy to expend 10 minutes more raising a complaint with ACCC if the wording of the promotion is misleading.

Not sure if this is a good trick, you can buy the "whole" DC34 with only $91 by getting every spare parts (+$5x for battery which is not available online).

    • Hmm interesting!

    • +11

Wishful thinking but no motor… maybe make the motor sound with your mouth and pretend you have a motor.

      • LOL !!!

      • oh crap, me so stupid hahahaa…thought the "Cyclone Assembly" was the motor (for DC34)…

So should I buy the cyclone assembly and container as spares????

  • I called to purchase a replacement motorhead for DC35 but they taught me how to unblock it instead. Sweet!

    • Please tell us How to unblock ?

  • Thank you, been eyeing a replacement battery for teh DC-16 handheld as well as the swivel hard floor tool (their standard head scratches my floorboards)

  • THansk OP, perfect timing as my DOG just chewed through the power charger.

    • sure, I bet he ate your homework too ;)

  • Literally need to get a new filter today after our was 'lost' and I can't get the prefilter part online from them :(
    http://www.dyson.com.au/spares/variantspares.aspx?pid=DC58%2…

  • Thanks OP. This is also on spares- previous discounts did not allow. Bought a charger today.

  • why is the batteries not avail to purchase?

    • I purchased a battery for my handheld with no issues.

  • 30% off dc59 great value.

    • +1

How did you get the code to work? Seems only on parts

  • Bought the mattress tool for $20.30 delivered. Thanks OP!

  • Thank you so much, my mum has wanted the car cleaning kit for ages so I've ordered it for her for Christmas with a $40 saving! Awesome!

  • Wow I'm impressed with this deal and the site. Need a charger for my DC34 animal -21 dollars including delivery. Bargain!!

  • I bought my DC37 off Amazon spain. Will it still be compatible with these accessories?

  • Thanks OP! got an extension hose for $17.50 (realised this wasn't listed in the tools - I had to search for it myself)
    http://www.dyson.com.au/accessories/e/extension-hose/extensi…

Also got the mattress tool for $20.30 all for my DC59 :)

  • Has anyone found the extension bar for the DC34 handstick?
Seems they don't have them, so you need to pay an extra $200 for the DC35!

  • awesome … been waiting for ages for a code!

  • Bought the tool kit for about $70. Hopefully they worth…

  • Just getting order failed.

  • Do they still sell the big turbine head?

    • Yes, look for spares for one of the vacuums that can be fitted with it. Should cost $129 = $90 with the rebate.

        • It says:

          Suitable for:

DC19 Turbine, DC20 Harvey Norman Exclusive, DC20 Origin, DC20 Turbine, DC29 Multi Floor

It doesn't list models newer than DC29… will it work on those?

        • Look at the spesific spares listed for the model you have.

        • @iampivot: It's not listed under DC37, but the mini turbine head is. It's strange that it wouldn't be supported. It's the same connector right?

      • Is this better than the tangle free one, in terms of effectiveness? Apart from needing to untangle the thing manually.

        • It's wider than the tangle free one, so better suited for normal vacuuming floors etc.

        • @iampivot: Am I being cynical for thinking Dyson could have made a tangle free version that is just as wide? Did they hope people would buy both of them?

        • @lostn: They are just like apple, releasing new models with incremental improvements. I'm pretty sure one of the next top models with come with the tangle free turbine in full width.

I've learned that you should always purchase the *animal version of any of their vacuums, since those come with the turbine head, which makes a lot of difference in performance.

  • Bought new hose for my DC07 hepa upright 5 minutes ago, code was still valid :)

  • any new codes?
