Hi all,
I have a $500 westfield giftcard that I need to spend by end of the month, but I don't really have anything to buy other than the iPhone6, problem is probably not possible to one now without preordering?
Any tips on how better to extend the life of the gift card or buying an iPhone 6?
I check JB Hifi and they don't sell iPhone6 outright.

Can you buy JBHiFi card with it? I'm pretty sure you can, they treat them like debit cards.
You can't buy giftcards using giftcards.
I've done that with a shopping centre voucher. Bought a JB voucher with it from the store in the centre, so I could go to a JB in the neighbouring suburb that still had what I wanted in stock.
If you really cannot use it, you can always sell it here!
JB will be selling iphone 6 outright I was told by JB in Melb City late Oct early Nov, they told me their first prioroty for their shipment is for Telstra post-paid sign ups they will make.
You can use it for anything and anywhere. It is just like any prepaid debit card. If you tell them that it is a Westfield gift card they may tell you that it is not accepted, but if you do not say anything, swipe it and digit in the pin it will work anywhere.
We were given Westfield cards for Xmas, took them to Woolworths and used them to buy Visa debit cards! Not only are they accepted anywhere with EFTPOS but it will give you an extra 12 months to spend it!! Problem Solvered!! :)
Try to buy Visa debit cards but they no longer sell them now since its moving to PIN only cards no signature. :(
