Grand Theft Auto V PS4 (Pre-Order) $59.98 Delivered @ Dick Smith

360
SUPER10

Received an email with a code promising $10 off orders over $50. Didn't expect it to work on an already discounted pre-order, but was happy to be proven wrong.

Code expires at Midnight EST. (Limited to the first 300 orders apparently)

$59.98 delivered seems like a great price compared to other places.

$89 @ JB Hifi
$99.95 @ EB Games
$98 @ Harvey Norman

      Why on earth neg this?

      • Why on earth neg THIS?

That's a good price but I think I need it $10 cheaper before I bite.
EDIT: Also does DSE do the "ship a couple of days early, so it arrives on launch day" thing or what? Cause you could be waiting.

    • +1

it ships the day before the launch date
Destiny departed Sydney on the 8th Sep and arrived in Melbourne on the 10th Sep….
Which is quite disappointing when it was an overnight shipping

Well I can wait a day for GTA5 but COD…

        CoD, ruining the industry

        • Is it 2012 again?
CoD is losing popularity so it's not really being copies anymore and therefor not ruining the industry.

SO Dicky's warehouse is located in Sydney,Awesome.

        Glad i live in Sydney.

All uses gone? I'm getting "Coupon code 'Super 10' is not valid"

    • -1

Just worked for me. Did you enter SUPER10 with no spaces?

      • +2

Code doesn't work with your login if you have used code before? Just use it without logging in?

  • +2

FIFA 15 using the same code is a much better option. < $60 incl postage

    • +5

In the other DSE thread, it was mentioned that the code wasn't working with many XB1 games. Doubt this had anything to do with bias….

      Pot, meet kettle.

This is ozbargain mate, the game will run at a higher resolution on ps4 for the same price as the Xbox one version therefore the ps4 version is the better deal… ;)

      • +2

        Suicine94 is that you???

      • But why not just buy the PC version then…? ;)

        • +1

Depends on whether people want to wait till late January or not I suppose. :)

    • I had an xbox 360 and when the new gen consoles came out I decided to go to the ps4. So glad I did.

      @RI4V4N

I'm sorry you feel that way, but I assure you that there is nothing 'fanboi' going on here. If the code actually worked for the Xbox One copy then I most certainly would have included that as part of the deal.

Maybe next time you could do some research and get your facts straight rather than attack someone here without reason.

In your mind you have created a problem where one did not exist. This 'shit' you are sick of, whose fault is that really?

      • -2

It did work because I used it on one (and bought one). So yeah. Do your research next time. It didn't work on some xbone games like the halo collection, but it did on this. Its why I made the post.

        • +2

lol. The code was not valid for Xbox One games so I don't see how that is possible.

Actually, that's not entirely true. I did get it to work with Xbox One copy of Destiny, but I suspect that was only because for some reason Dick Smith have listed it in the PS4 category.

Hope you enjoy playing your imaginary game ;)

  • Catalogue has FIFA for $59.98 already, so should get it for $49.98 after discount.

  • Honestly was expecting GTA V to be released at a cheaper price, about $50. I'll hold off I think.

  • Thanks. Picked one up.

  • just ordered one, thanks OP

  • +1

there could be a $15 off code in the next 2 months which would make it $55?

  • If there is you can just cancel existing order and place a new one.

I have a good money management tip.

Goto to DSE stores, put $10 bucks down for a pre-order closer to the release dates.

Then keep the $49.95 in your pocket and spend it when you need to.

If you pre-order a game that comes out in December or after (such as GTA) you've just dropped $60 bucks that you could have kept for 3 months for yourself, and only needed to spend $10.

    • -1

but u wouldn't get $10 off…. money management is for noobs

      • yes, you would, please read again above: Goto to DSE stores, put $10 bucks down for a pre-order closer to the release date

A $10 deposit for a pre-order the day before the release dates gives you the game at release date price -$10 pre-order bonus.

        • -1

so u end up paying $69.98

        • +1

          @lolmao:

no mate. $59.98 which is the same as post. Except I have the money in my pocket and not given it DSE until the game comes out.

$10 pre order 1 day before release date.
          Game comes out at $69.98
          -$10 pre order bonus.
          = $59.98

          -$10 you already paid.

You pay $49.68 on release day.

@drb: CBF going into the store. Best way to do it is wait for $15 off code and buy these games for $55 delivered. Cheaper, and less hassle of parking etc.

        • @drb:
          oh k seems legit

  • All 300 used or doesn't work on all games? Won't work on Halo Collection here

    Edit: Works on DriveClub still

  • NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    missed out

    • lol its $54.98 now
