I never knew there were cat food reviews. What is the best that can be bought in Australia?

      • I have no idea but I'm pretty sure whiskas is the best at the supermarket.

Asking people to pay 3 times the price at a specialised place is asking a little much.

        • Did you notice the list of notes of cats dying after eating this rubbish?! Safe or not, it's an awful sludge that I wouldn't feed to an animal I care about.

        • @douglasb:

You'll find cats die after eating anything even if its safe organic, raw etc.

I could say my friend died after he drank water, does that make water bad?

      • I have very healthy and happy animals.

The cats eat fresh diced beef from the butcher and various grainfree dry food brands from the supermarket.

I freeze the beef flat in a bag and break a bit off each day; cut it up with scissors.

It really depends on the cat, My cat would get sick of that very quickly.

    • Wow, those comments though

  • Dupe of Compare-A-Tron?

    • Don't think so, that only mentions the 24 can deal.

      • Why pay more?

  • Will be stocking up for my little monster!

  • must b friday, i thought i saw whisky cat food!

  • My cats like the Aldi Premium brand cat food and it's normally priced at about 70 or 80c a tin, seems to be Whiskas quality so I default to that instead of Whiskas now.

    • The Aldi stuff is infinitely better than Whiskas. I'm pretty sure the production process for Whiskas is similar to that for McDonalds chicken nuggets, only with ground up pallets and cardboard boxes as the base ingredient. Aldi food contains actual meat, for a start. It's pretty much unbeatable at $0.69/can for a premium grade food with actual meat. The cats love it, too.

      • I'm pretty sure..

… it's opinion trying to be fact!!
