I'm trying help my friend to get tax refund at sydney airport. I assume this will take approximately 1hr. I know of the 15min free parking there but I dont think its enough. Does anyone know tips and tricks and ways to avoid that parking cost? And if I cant avoid that parking cost, whats the cheapest option?
ps: I saw online prebook for 1hr parking its $10. Can anyone confirm whether that is cheaper than getting a ticket there.

And all the goods need to be shown as carry on after you've done passports. Goods can't go back out.
thanks but Im aware there is a facility where I would need to get it "stamped" before going pass passport control to collect the refund.

this is not correct, the facilities is after passport control, otherwise it defeats the purpose of the facility

The TRS facilities is located after the passport control so you are not able to be there if you're not travelling with your friend.
