I have been searching for a high-ish end Bluetooth speaker and came across The Core wireless speaker on indiegogo.
I am a backer of 2 units but in no way affiliated with the company.
obviously it is a project that that isn't without its risks. However "previews" seem to be promising.
I think its a bit like the Sony SRSX9 but allows you to link multiple units.
Appears somewhat like sonos but the down side i can see is that it doesn't have built in wifi. so will rely on your mobile phone

their "retail" price is 599USD. On Indiegogo campaign you
1 unit 389+25USD = 414 USD each
2 units 729+25USD = 377 USD each
3 units 999+25USD = 341 USD each
I think it's worth a look. Might be relevant to some people here!
