Can you change the DNS settings in the Chromecast to use a service like Getflix? I thought this was an issue with it

  Most example I saw requires VPN on the router or hijacking the DNS on the router level, which can be tricky if you are not running DD-WRT or Tomato.

  It's quite simple on most routers. You just need to set a static route to block Google's dns servers (e.g. 8.8.8.8 forwards to your router). You then set your main DNS servers as GetFlix.
