Free Steam and Desura Games Through Tremor Games

Being an Ozbargainer and a gamer sometimes don't go well with each other so I found a way to get free steam or desura games - it is pretty much an easy grind so this might not be for you.

Warning: I know this is obvious but please do not use your credit card details when doing any of the offers (to be safe).

Trading cards, emoticons, backgrounds and steam wallet credit are also for free (though limited in range and stock) and everything is legal. There is a website called Tremor Games and you do surveys, watch videos and download apps to earn coins and then cash in the coins for the games you want. Tremor source their games from humble bundles and when games are on sale. I've been using them for about 100 days and can say they are legitimate and after that time, I have found ways to maximise the coin income within a short period of coin grinding (will share if people are interested).

I will also list my referral link but you do not have to use my link whatsoever if you are uncomfortable with it, but I would greatly appreciate it if you do. The referrer will get 20% or less of what is made by the referred and the referred will loose absolutely nothing - Tremor gives me coins out of their own pockets.

This is the main link, sign up with them and you are good to go!

My referral link, thanks a million in advance if you decide to sign up using my referral link:

If there are any questions please let me know and I'll be happy to lend a hand where I can (I'm also in the middle of writing up my own short guide but there are heaps of them on the internet if you do not want to wait).

  • Have participated in a lot of similar services in the past, so I have sort of an idea of what's going on. Can you give a more complete list of rewards? And how many of them are accessible by Australians? I have grinded for days on a similar service where it turns out I wasn't eligible for the rewards I wanted. Specifics like name of available gift cards, what's in the "lots more" section, etc..

    • +1

Sure thing mate. In summary you need to try each one as my mate and I have different offers that work for us. Here are the ones that work for me:

      Supersonic: Videos only
      Superrewards: Videos only
Trialpay: Apps (before it did, not now for some reason)
      Matomy: Mobile apps and videos
      Peanutlabs: Surveys
      V11 videos: Videos
Offertoro: They were working once but have stopped due to their development of a support system (reason I was given when I emailed them for an explanation on why my coins weren't crediting).
Persona: Apps, Videos and surveys (the surveys are very annoying but the rewards are great once you get one done).

Edit: As for the rewards you need to sign up and view the very long range of games available. There were games like borderlands 2, day Z, rust, a lot of indie games (terraria etc.) but they go out of stock quickly. I'm personally saving up for the $20 steam wallet so I'll have spending money when the winter sales come by, it is the best way because you don't need to worry about currency conversion and international transaction fees.

      • Sounds great, will register using the referral link. When is your guide available? I can wait, mainly because I'm too busy right now to actually begin burning time on this.

        • Thanks for supporting me! :)

I'm in the middle of uni assignments so I'm a busy bee but I will work on it when I'm relaxing. The guide will be out hopefully in the next week or so. If not, I'll post what I have and build on it from time to time. I'm also sure there are better ways to tremor mine so I'll add to it every time I learn something new.

As for your time issues, there is one thing I do as I don't have a lot of time as well. I usually play a video and let it run in the background. Then come back (usually in a tab on chrome) and hit play on another video. I'll write about the chrome extensions that help with this process in the guide. But in a nutshell ad blocker is your friend and enemy when mining, and I use mute inactive tabs extension to mute V11 videos (as you can't mute them) when I have it in a background tab playing. Hope that helps :)

        • @watty: Brilliant, those are some pretty handy tips for more then just this. In the middle of assignment also so I'm on the same boat. Where can I find this guide when it's done?

        • @AmeryD: If it's not too long I'll just post it here. But if it is quite lengthy I might post it to a steam group my mate and I are creating but I'll ask permission from the mods first if I could do that (post my group). I want to have everything in the one guide but remembering everything is the hard part xD

          Good luck with your assignment!

  • Quick update - the guide is somewhat done, I managed to write up quite a bit and will send it to anyone interested.

@AmeryD I have you on my referrers list so I'll ask you how you want me to send it to you on Tremor* (you have pm's off here lol).

    • Hey man, didn't even know it was off. It's on now, feel free to send the details through there.
