    Are these guys respected? I know Redhat looks decent on a resume but can you compare them with these guys?

      Most employers don't seem to know or care about Red Hat certs, so I doubt LF's certifications will really add value to your CV. But the exams are still good for what they are - hands on, performance based, they do prove you know stuff and can do things, unlike MCQ tests.

    these guys sponsor Linus Torvolds (the man who created Linux) the training bridges various different flavours of Linux .. so i would say yes - one of the best.
