    Also, call me "negative Nancy", but may I take this opportunity to advise fellow OzB'ers not to derive any false hope from #9 on the list, "Cancer: Natural Therapies & Cures".

    Lastly, I note that "Chemistry" has the biggest retail price of any of the "currently free" books I've ever seen posted by TA; $114! So it might be worth getting it, even if you don't have an interest in chemistry… as a preemptive strike in case you develop one!

    Oops - IRISH PROVERBS no longer free - cost me $3.50 as I was blindly clicking buy for all the free books
    Is there anyway to get a refund ????

    worked out how to get a refund from Kindle help:
    "Books you purchase from the Kindle Store are eligible for return and refund if we receive your request within seven days of the date of purchase. Once a refund is issued, you'll no longer have access to the book. To request a refund and return content, visit Manage Your Content and Devices, select the Actions button next to the title you'd like to return, and select Return for refund, or contact customer service."

    I've done the same 'click thru assuming its free' many times. I normally cancel immediately.

    wow, 7 days ! If you were a fast reader you could really abuse that.

      Not sure why negged. Didn't know smoking cauased it, I thought it was the flammable coating/paint and static electricity. Perfect storm with poor landing and of course the highly combustible gas just made it worse.

        I've seen at least one doco' that says it was caused by a lit ciggy, but from memory it was by one of the crew, that was smoking somewhere that was not in the "normal" part of the ship where the passengers were situated. But yeah, it was doomed to fail, really… Tragic nonetheless.
