Actually you can go to JBHIFI to ask for a much better deal. You can get the PS4 for $438, a new game release like FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Edition (yup the preordered one) for $62 and two older games (like AC Black Flag, Infamous Second Son, Diablo III) for $6 each when you purchase a $50 warranty plan.
Comes out to be $562 in total.
I'm struggling to see the 'much better deal' in that. Please help me out
Why would we not just buy this BigW bundle plus a game for $62? That would make it $560 for a console and 3 games rather than your $562 for a console and 3 games.
Because there's now an additional warranty plan. Trust me it's worth investing in warranty options given how frequent consoles have problems.

I just finished that Tomb Raider game yesterday, holy crap. I thought people were being over-hyped. Nah - it's pretty god damned good. Real good, it is very very close to Uncharted, infact better in some ways. Surprising.
However, the deal I want, GTAV, PS4, $50 AUD shipped or less, I'm dying to get it cheap :( Cmon DSE.

I had almost made a few purchases here and there (more because of the price then that I needed the game) but always had an issue weather I got stuck at checkout or it just wouldn't work for XBONE games.
Now there are some actual games worth playing on the way, looks like I won't be in a rush to purchase them anymore, such a shame!
Recent dick codes seem to exclude pre orders. Also if you look at their current prices 59.99 will be the cheapest you can get as they fixed the extra 10$ off or in other words they already update that discount on the website ( if you see the description of the games at 59.99 it will say the 10$ off pre order is already taken into account and not to be used wiith any other discount ) ..

I guess so. Or maybe just a revised version. The PS3 in the "fat" format had several major hardware revisions from the release model, from the dropping of extra USB ports, dropping of PS2 emulation HW, better reliability, and so forth. I still feel the slim was the best of the series.
I'm still waiting for a decent firmware and several games I HAVE to have. There are a number coming out, but I'm in no hurry to rush. It'd get limited use at the moment. And my 2 PS3s get used daily.
excuse me for my ignorance, how do you play 2 PS3s at the same time?

One it region A, the other region B. I may use them concurrently for recording TV on one while playing a game or watching a blu ray on the other. It was a pretty neat voltage friendly way of having both regions at the time.That's exactly what I mean. I had 2 iterations of the PS3 before the slim came out, and I gave up trying to update them. As you said, waiting for a must have game or hardware/firmware update to make the plunge.
Also, I have 2 Xbox360s :) The old one where you can swap the HDD from one to the other instead of moving it around the house when my kid wants the kinect in the other room.
I hear there is this cloud thing these days so I can keep my saves there…I'm not convinced.
