SanDisk 16GB Ultra Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive $10.95 + $3.95 Shipping @ Shopping Square

70

High Performance USB 3.0 speeds - up to 130MB/s read

Package contents:

  • 1x SanDick 16GB Ultra Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive

-1 Year Warranty in Australia

Looks like they stuffed up here given the wrong photo and product code but the package contents clearly state 64GB Sandick. Well, maybe a typo in there too but you never know, maybe DSE is up for a law suit.

Anyway, if you do get the 16gb genuine Sandisk in the mail, just note that the next cheapest I could find at a store is $15 at MSY and $13.29 from a eBay seller in Hong Kong.

1x SanDick 64GB Ultra Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive
    SanDick…

    • +3

      Even if it was a 64gb for $15, I don't think I would want a SanDick - sounds itchy.

      • +3

        I don't think I would want a SanDick - sounds itchy.

        or missing

        • Well in that case I hope that if someone was to order an SD card that it arrives SanDick, the other option being that it may contain a SurpriseDick.

    • Dick is a common typo when typing 'Disk'

  • -2

Not going to bother, its obviously an error.

  • They chose the right image, but wrong title. You'll end up getting 16GB instead.

    • +2

I think I have all the right to dispute if they send me 16gb. Even at checkout it comes up with 64gb. PayPal has also recorded sold product 64gb.
It may come down to hit or miss case.

      • The checkout confirmation they sent me clearly states "SanDick 64GB Ultra Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive" Will be disputing if I get sent 16GB. Wondering if would be best to do a Paypal dispute or a bank charge or do both at same time.

        • and hopefully a genuine SanDick!

  • +1

$15 is not worth the effort of dealing with these guys when they only send you the 16GB. Don't waste your time and effort.

  • Product code would indicate 16gb.. UFD3-SAN-CZ43-16G

  • SanDick 32GB Ultra Fit is $18.95 plus shipping

  • So glad I hit refresh before paying with paypal

  • Would it fit with http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171454083863 to extend the storage of my oneplus one. Ideally, I am looking for a $40/64gb price point but in no hurry.

    • This is a USB stick not a micro-SD card.

      • Several phones lack (microSD)expandable storage, as I had realised yeah. Wondered if OTG+microUSB-port +adaptor & fit stick makes for a practical workaround. 128GB- for devices with no slot.

        • +1

It's a usb stick, you only need OTG.

No it's not practical, otg + phone in pocket will result it a loose and broken micro usb slot, they're fragile enough as it is.

100MB/s is read not write… I'd be shocked if the 16gb version saturated usb 2 write speeds

        • Might not work with usb 3.0 due to power requirement of the stick phone can"t drive it. Works fine with usb 2.0 drives so get the older version to be safe. My setup never works with usb3 sticks but worked extremely well with the older version of fit.

    • Plenty of sellers on EBay selling SanDisk 64GB Ultra Fit for AUD$40 shipped from Hong Kong or $45 from Sydney…

      • Am going to try my present 'exteme USB3, using micro adaptor- due shortly from quoted seller, before A40.39 w' sincerity trading. Will be great to have this form factor + 100 MB/s on PC end.

        • extreme usb3 - 12gb copied 6 min to 1+1 (33M/s), no power issues so far using OTG micro cable.
Just going to forget the fit ultra as write from PC won't get nearly the expected (80-100MBs) and reports of it running hot. I'll only use the existing extreme for playback when stationery, unplug when mobile as you get only one port w a phone and certainly not worth risking.

  • They're trying to charge us for Sandick? I get that for free every time I go to the beach!

    • An ultra fit Sandick? I doubt it.

      • It's an ultra shrinkage Sandick if I go for a swim.

High performance Sandick with Ultra Fit. Don't flash when you drive from shopping square.

      • Sandick Ultra Fit could be a new line of condoms for those that enjoy pain.

How much difference from this 16G cruzer fit from ebay shopping square $9.99 free ship. Thanks in advance. 32G is $17.95.

    • main difference would be speed- cruzer fit = usb 2.0; ultra fit = 3.0.

    • Thanks for that, I wasn't looking for a high-speed drive (not needed for car MP3 player), and you just saved me a bit of cash. Thanks again!

Maybe worthwhile posting as a separate bargain? But make it clear in the title that it's a "16G slow USB2 Cruzer FIT drive", or you'll get lots of negs saying "it's not USB3"!

      • Nice to hear that. Happy if anyone does it a seperate post. Think rep from shopping square is currently quarantined from ozbargain.

  • Just keep in mind that when Sandick gloats about their stellar read speeds, but don't make it so easy to find out their write speeds .. usually means the write speed isn't so stellar.

  • Performance?

      ^oh, beat me too it!

  • better grab 1 from ebay, $40 you get 64G. Gonna plug it on my macbook air just for itunes and other videos :)

  • Lot's of luck getting the 64GB off eBay. Most of the flash drives are fakes.
