FWIW, every Uniden phone I have used has had terrible batteries that don't last (charge & lifespan) and are expensive to replace…the phones themselves are fine, but the batteries really, really spoil the party!

Panasonic FTW, ozpete put me onto them a few years ago, they use standard AA/AAA, & good ones at that! :)

The Uniden replacement battery cost more than the price of this phone. I also went to Panasonic which use AAA batteries.

  • I have an older model Uniden (6 year old). When the batteries needed replacing, purchased Chinese copy via eBay for less than $2 each delivered.

  • Engineered in Japan and manufactured in China…what a selling tactic. Doesn't convincing.
