Great deal one of the cheapest prices seen for these two sony Bravia models, rrp for 42 inch W800B is $999 and rrp for 50 inch W800B is $1499. 50 inch w800b is not on sale just a cheap price for the 50 inch model. The 55 inch model is $1349 at harveynorman.com.au

  Anyone know when this expires? I'll be getting a new TV towards the end of the money for my bday and was pretty much set on the 48" sony that usually goes for 800-900 (and has no 3D unlike both of these), but the $698 deal is pretty tempting as it would be still be a big upgrade from my current 32" one.

  If I had a bit of extra money (I'll be paying for probably half or more of whatever the total is) I'd even consider the 50" one but am guessing this will have expired before say the last week of October.

    Once I saw the 55 inch for 1133 as a price error dont buy the TV now wait for xmas

      Or buy now with price protection (usually lasts 6 months). Lots of credit cards have it for a small fee (0.5%).
