Optus Sony Xperia Z3 Complaint

I preordered a sony z3 online on the 1/10 when the PS4 Promotion (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/163588?page=1#comment) was going on.
I called YESTERDAY to confirm when my phone was meant to arrive, when i ordered it it stated 8/10 but wanted to follow up and they said it was today. So today in the morning i called to confirmed if it was going to be delivered or not. I called 1300300562 which transferred me to 1800441731/1300300562 after asking i was HUNG UP on which was the 2nd time in a week (No i was not rude) and i called back on the 1300300562 WAITED AN HOUR and got the a system recording saying that the system had an error. Called back waited another half an hour and was told it will be Monday so I asked to speak to the manager which supposedly will take another 2 hours or so. So about 2.5 hours in total today on the phone making me really pissed off at the moment and just want to find out what has occurred because its two days late. I don't understand what the point of preordering a phone is when i'll get it later than the local optus store.
Is anyone else in the same situation as me?

  • Finally resolved after dealing with a person named Janice CP488414 through my optus app shes the best but other customer support members are the worst
